Snapback AI Intern (Summer 2026)

What Is This:

Snapback Sports is running an 8-week, in-person AI internship out of our New York City office this summer. Six people will be selected to join us from June 1 through July 31, working in the office as three teams of two.

This is not a traditional internship. You will be doing real work, using cutting-edge AI tools, and vying for a full-time job at Snapback Sports.

What You Get:

• $6,500 for the 8-week program
• Access to AI tooling
• The chance to earn a full-time job at Snapback Sports
• $5,000 prize for each member of the winning team

The Build Session:

Every participant competes solo in one of two 48-hour Build Sessions. You’ll receive your prompt at the start of the session.

At the end of your session, you’ll submit your project along with a 3-minute video demoing what you built. That’s how you’re evaluated.

The Prize:

The winning team takes home $5,000 each.

Separately, one person will be offered a full-time job at Snapback Sports. It is NOT automatically the members of the winning team. The full-time offer goes to the individual who best exemplifies what Snapback is all about:

Winning the Build Session does not guarantee you the job. How you show up every day does.

Program Details:

• Dates: June 1 – July 31
• Location: Snapback Sports NYC Office — full-time, in-person
• Cohort: 6 participants — 3 teams of two
• You must bring your own device
• No housing stipend — you are responsible for your own accommodations

Here’s How It Works:

From application to your first day, here’s exactly what to expect.

Step 1: Apply — Deadline: March 19

Fill out the official application.

Applications close March 19. Don’t wait.

Step 2: Choose Your Build Session Date

When you apply, you’ll select one of two 48-hour Build Sessions to compete in. Pick the date that works for you:

• Session 1: March 21–22
• Session 2: March 28–29

You’ll compete in the session you selected. The prompt is revealed at the start — no sneak peeks.

Step 3: We Review Applications

After March 19, our team reviews every submission. Not everyone who applies will be admitted. We’re selecting 6 people.

We’ll be in touch with decisions before your Build Session date.

Step 4: Compete in Your Build Session

Your Build Session is 48 hours. You’ll receive the prompt when it begins. Build something real.

At the end, submit your project and a 3-minute video walking us through what you made and why.

This is your first real evaluation. Come ready.

Step 5: Receive Your Offer

After the Build Sessions, selected participants will receive formal offers to join the internship. You’ll get everything you need to confirm your spot and prepare for Day 1.

Step 6: Show Up — June 1, NYC

The internship begins June 1 at Snapback’s New York City office. You’ll work full-time alongside the Snapback team for 8 weeks as part of a two-person team, with access to unlimited AI tooling and real creative mandates.

The internship runs through July 31. One person walks away with a full-time job — not necessarily the Build Session winner. It goes to the person who best exemplifies Snapback.
